Place is small and cozy! Had a date night with the Mr, we sat at the bar instead of taking up a table. The Bartender was nice and very attentive (not sure of his name but he kinda looks like Jared Leto). I ordered the shrimp and grits, my date had the chicken parmigiana. The food was good! My date said the dish wasn’t bad but the chicken parmigiana with rice wasn’t his favorite. He did try my shrimp and grits and loved it!! Highly recommend! Great environment, friendly service and the food was delicious!!
Absolutely charming and cozy restaurant! The quality and uniqueness of their food blew my mind! Southern eggrolls are a MUST! The steak tips melt in your mouth, so tender and tasty you don't even need the dipping sauce! The rice and grill-charred green beans were best! My husband loved the salmon BLT - salmon was seared to perfection! The two waitresses were so friendly and accomodating! Highly recommend!
Excellent. If you are near Fayetteville NC, this is a great place for dinner. Bread was delicious. They MAKE their own butter, different flavors each night. I had filet tips and daughter had pork chop, both dinners were excellent. Service was great, our waitress was from NJ and we're from the area. Home sweet restaurant Opens at 5pm for DINNER, no reservations, we showed up at 4:50 and a line, so you know its good. Parking on the street free after 5pm Thank you management. Please thank all of the staff and people in the back doing all the great cooking. We really appreciated all of you fine folks! Great place
They don't take reservations so I was worried about waiting but we were seated right away outside. Great ambiance with patio lights. We each enjoyed a well mixed cocktail before we ate. The Brussel sprout salad was exceptional and salmon curry perfect. Banana pudding proved a good finish to our dining. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
It's always very good! We like going on Thursdays for the steak special, it's different every time! A wonderful experience, and the menu changes often while keeping the same feel.
Cute for small party/family or couples date. Not much space for a large party. Went for brunch and the service was nice. Really love the braised ribs/ grits and fried green tomatoes. Didn’t expect the beignets to be served cold, wish they would have been served hot/warm.
We were out of towners visiting Fayetteville for the first time and had the great pleasure of dining at Circa 1800! We tried the shrimp and grits, the salmon curry (seasonal) and the braised rib mac and cheese (seasonal). We also tried the fried green tomatoes and the winter oysters (not pictured) which were FANTASTIC. We finished our meal off with the Banana Pudding and the chocolate cake (not pictured). This was hands down one of THE BEST meals I’ve eaten in a very long time. Truly such a wonderful dining experience. I could say so many wonderful things about this place but in short, we received very attentive service, our drinks were well balanced and thoughtfully curated and our meal was AMAZING. If you are in Fayetteville dining at Circa 1800 should be added to your list of places to stop and eat! Cudos to the chef and the staff.
I give them 5 stars because I can't give them 100. Celebrated a couple of birthdays here amd loved every single thing on the table. We tried the shrimp and grits, meatloaf, beef tips, and lamb. It was all wonderful! We're a family of chefs and not easily impressed with restaurants. THIS PLACE HAS IT FIGURED OUT!
I took my wife here on her birthday, and we loved. Amazing atmosphere and great food. It has a very niche environment. A perfect date night spot. If I had one gripe it's only due to the restaurant itself being on the smaller side.
We had the short ribs and egg rolls and they were exceptional! Our server was the best in the place and she even let us know about brunch the next day! The room was a little chilly, but we could have sat outside for the perfect temperature. Bread was delicious and the banana pudding was AMAZING! It was all priced right, and parking was jyst around the corner for $2. Loved it!
